Family Dinners

Today I heard on the radio that family dinners are a great way for families to start conversations. (I have always known this but it was good to hear it repeated). It doesn’t matter the ages of the kids  or what the meal is: (pizza or goulash) It is just a good way to get conversation flowing, for parents to find out how the day went for their kids and even to know who they new friends are. Besides all that you can teach table etiquette, introduce new words, share family values and enjoy a good meal all at the same time. Learning starts at home.
